At the heart of my decision to pursue the role of International President lies my unwavering dedication to advocating for community college students. I'm driven to ensure that their tireless efforts are not only recognized but also celebrated. I aim to lend a compassionate ear, amplify their voices through advocacy, and provide vital resources needed to foster their triumphs so that every individual is esteemed and empowered to turn their aspirations into reality.

I’m a proud big sister of three amazing girls and the devoted caretaker of a lively bunch of pets—five dogs, five cats, and two ferrets. When I'm not busy with my family and furry friends, you'll often find me indulging in one of my favorite pastimes: journaling. It's my way of diving deep into self-discovery and personal growth.

You can usually spot me sporting comfy athletic attire, with a refreshing iced vanilla coffee in hand—extra sugar, extra cream, please. Growing up immersed in various sports and activities has instilled in me a love for physical fitness. Whether I'm hitting the gym or exploring nature's trails on a hike, I'm always up for an adventure.

I am certified in CPR/AED, Mental Health First Aider and am a Certified Nurse Assistant.

I am a Student Money Management Ambassador, and involved in PTK and the Future Business Leaders of America chapter at my college.

I also participate in the Wake Invests in Women Mentor/Mentee Program and other volunteer opportunities.

Bold and Fearless

Why “bold and fearless”?

During a fun day at an amusement park before a Regional Event, I took on the challenge of riding two slingshot rides. Exiting the second one, I boldly stated, “PTK has made me bold and fearless,” as my friend recorded.

The next day, after the conference ended, my friend and I discovered a carnival nearby. Seeing a sign for helicopter rides, I mentioned my lifelong wish to try one. Without hesitation, my friend bought tickets, and we were soon airborne. Reflecting on our adventurous weekend on the way home, we discussed seizing growth opportunities and fulfilling bucket list dreams.

Through my experiences and discussions about Phi Theta Kappa, I realized that advocating for community college students and running for PTK International Office was on my bucket list. I firmly believe that community college provides an outstanding environment for academic excellence, leadership development, community engagement, and lasting friendships.
